Industrial Area

Holon’s industrial zone is one of the biggest industrial areas in Israel, located in the center’s metropolis. Some 40,000 people make themselves a living here in a wide variety of companies and businesses, ranging from electronics, recording studios and high-tech to plastics and wood products, bakeries, banks and shopping malls. The zone’s infrastructure is in a desperate need of redevelopment and expansion. New roads and a new bridge are needed as well as a fast connection to the Ayalon Highway. New regulations have to protect the environment and public areas have to be cleaned up. The ambition is to transform the industrial zone into a showcase of responsible entrepreneurship.
